The Inca Trail to Machu Picchu is considered by experts one of the most spectacular trekking routes in the world. However, not all visitors who come to Cusco to make this famous walk are lucky enough to make this unforgettable journey on foot in the midst of breathtaking natural landscapes and archaeological remains. Itinerary Tourist Destination

Day 1: Cusco

Day 2: Cusco


Excursion to the Sacred Valley of the Incas, surrounded by the Urubamba river. On the way, stop at Awanakancha where you will discover the beauty of South American camelids, guanacos, llamas, alpacas and vicunas single species, and an exhibition of traditional Andean textile art. Then the colorful market of Pisac, where you can appreciate a blend of color, tradition and local people exhibiting typical products, crafts silver alpaca and ceramics is traversed. Lunch at a local restaurant, to continue the tour to Ollantaytambo, the oldest continuously occupied settlement in the Americas, its narrow streets and canals unchanged since Inca times. Day 3: Cusco, Huayllabamba

Inca Trail to Machu Picchu - Day 1

After breakfast you will continue walking through the valley of Huayllabamba in the path you can observe nature and ecological change of the area to a place called (Yunca Chimpa), for which it is prepared to ascend from Huayllabamba to Llulluchapampa (3,750 meters) from this point you can appreciate the valley and the first step Huayanay located 4,200 (m) Warmiwañusca, also called dead woman and camping in the area of Pacaymayo. This day ascend the second pass called Runkurakay which is (3,860 m), unlike the previous days you will have a difference of two hours walk where you can visit the small resort of Sayacmarca and appreciate the valleys and snow-capped, then continue to Phuyupatamarca complex, doing a small tour, and then descend 3 kilometers until the place called Wiñaywayna, depending on availability of spaces where acampará.Total walking time 10:00 horas.Total 15 kilometer walk walk kilómetros.Inicio and 3,800 (m) Final 2650 (m)
